Q: How do I register for Action Pistol matches?
A: For specific dates and registration: 
1. Go to practiscore.com
2. Click the dropdown menu to “Matches”
3. Type SLOACTION in the search window
4. Select the match for details and registration 

Q: Can I purchase ammo, or do I need to bring my own?
A: Ammunition is not sold at the facility; you must bring your own. See Rules for more information.

Q: When will the San Luis Obispo Wildlife Area Shooting Range be open to the public?

A: Action Pistol matches have begun operations, Rifle-Pistol and Shotgun ranges will be open Feb 28, Archery is TBD.

Q: I would like to use one of the venues at the San Luis Obispo Shooting Range. How can I request access?
A: Please use the Range Request Form.

Q: How can I volunteer to help?

A: Absolutely, please use this form to be added to our Volunteers list - Volunteer Form.

Q: Will you be selling memberships?

A: No, we will not selling any memberships for the range. This is against California Code of Regulations, Title 14.

Q: Will you be honoring memberships issued by SLOSA?

A: No, SLOFAST is a different organization completely seperate from SLOSA. Any prior memberships were against California Code of Regulations, Title 14.

Q: Will the Long/Back Range be open to the public?

A: No, the back range is not included in the contract.
